How long will my order take to complete?
As each Tui Pot is individually hand painted, please allow 2 to 3 weeks to receive your order.
Is pickup available?
Yes, absolutely! We are located in Papamoa Beach, Tauranga. If you would like to collect your pot please select this option at checkout. We will then be in touch to arrange a convenient date and time for pick up.
What are the pots made of?
Our pots are made of a lightweight and durable composite of fibreglass, resin and stone. (A.k.a Fibrestone)
What type of paint is used?
All our pots are painted with premium exterior paint. They're all water-based, have very low VOCs, and contain no toxic heavy metals, so are kinder to the environment. They're durable, UV resistant and made right here in New Zealand, so are formulated to withstand our unique Kiwi weather.
Are the pots suitable for outdoors?
Yes they are! We use exterior paint that is suitable for all conditions. Your pots will be best situated under cover, but it's not essential. Metallic colours are more suited for indoors as they may dull or tarnish over time if left outside or in direct sunlight.
Do the pots have a drainage hole?
Yes all our pots have a drainage hole. This is the safest option for your plants as it will help prevent root rot.
Can I plant straight in to my painted Tui Pot?
You can plant directly in to your Tui Pot. However, where possible, we recommend keeping your plant in its nursery pot, with a saucer. This is safer for the plant, preventing root rot, and will prolong the finish of your pot.
How do I care for my pot?
We use professional quality paint that can endure the elements, however due to their hand-painted characteristics, they can be prone to scuffs, scratches and cracks if not handled with care. To clean, simply wipe down with a damp cloth, or for stubborn stains, use warm soapy water
What if I don't see a colour or design that I want?
If there is a particular colour or design that you are after, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
